अब Passport बनवाने के लिए लंबी लाइनें, बार-बार Document Upload और Verification का झंझट काफी हद तक कम हो गया है। Government की Digital Service DigiLocker की मदद से अब Passport Process पहले से ज्यादा Fast, Paperless और आसान बनती जा रही है। दरअसल, Passport Seva Portal पर अगर Applicant अपने Documents को DigiLocker से Link करता है, तो Verification Process तेजी से पूरी हो सकती है। इसका कारण यह है कि DigiLocker में मौजूद Documents पहले से Government Database से Verified होते हैं, जिससे अधिकारियों को जांच में कम समय लगता है।
DigiLocker से क्या फायदे मिलते हैं?
- Passport बनने में कम समय लग सकता है
- बार-बार Documents Upload करने की जरूरत कम होती है
- Fake या गलत Documents की संभावना घटती है
- Process ज्यादा Secure और Paperless बनती है
- Police Verification भी तेजी से पूरा हो सकता है
Experts के मुताबिक, कई मामलों में DigiLocker इस्तेमाल करने वालों का Passport सामान्य प्रक्रिया की तुलना में जल्दी जारी हो रहा है।
कैसे करें इस्तेमाल?
Passport Apply करते समय Applicant को DigiLocker Account Link करने का Option मिलता है। Aadhaar OTP Verification के बाद Documents सीधे Portal पर Fetch हो जाते हैं, जिससे Manual Upload का झंझट कम हो जाता है।
हालांकि DigiLocker अभी Mandatory नहीं है, लेकिन Digital Process अपनाने वालों को Faster Verification का फायदा जरूर मिल रहा है। Digital India अभियान के तहत Passport Services में यह बदलाव लोगों के लिए बड़ी राहत माना जा रहा है, क्योंकि अब पूरी प्रक्रिया पहले से ज्यादा Smart और Convenient होती जा रही है।
Passport Seva Portal पर DigiLocker कैसे Link करें?
Passport Apply करते समय Applicant को Passport Seva Portal पर DigiLocker Account Link करने का Option मिलता है।
इसके बाद:
- Aadhaar OTP Verification होता है
- DigiLocker Access Allow करना पड़ता है
- Available Documents Automatically Fetch हो जाते है
- Documents अलग से Upload करने की जरूरत कम पड़ती है
इससे पूरी प्रक्रिया काफी आसान हो जाती है।
क्या DigiLocker Mandatory है?
हालांकि DigiLocker Passport Process को आसान बनाता है, लेकिन यह अभी पूरी तरह Mandatory नहीं है। Applicants चाहें तो Traditional तरीके से भी Documents Upload कर सकते हैं। लेकिन Digital Upload करने वालों को Faster Processing और Better Verification का फायदा जरूर मिल रहा है।

Passport Services में DigiLocker Integration को Digital Governance की दिशा में बड़ा कदम माना जा रहा है। इससे ना सिर्फ समय की बचत हो रही है, बल्कि Government Services ज्यादा Transparent, Secure और Efficient भी बन रही हैं। आने वाले समय में Passport Process पूरी तरह Paperless होने की उम्मीद जताई जा रही है, जिससे करोड़ों लोगों को सीधा फायदा मिलेगा।
